Take your attention off the things of this world for they are passing away. I have eternal riches that far outweigh those earthly concerns you so often set your heart upon. I will give you what you need in your life on earth, but never let it substitute for what I want for you. Be careful, for the replacement of Me as your sole sourceful provider can be subtle. At any time you should be ready to let go of everything you have for My sake. If not, you are holding on too closely to the things of the world.
What is it you are clinging to at the moment? Is it worth more than our relationship? Can you believe Me that I can provide better each and every time you let go of something? I can do that 100 times, 1000 times, forever. Then why do you fear letting go of anything? I am your source.
I live for you and I desire to see My best for you. But let Me be the determinant of what that is. My gifts are based on My eternal love for you. I give them with your eternity in mind for as this world passes away, I long to draw you closer and closer to the day you will see Me face to face. Live today for that day and know how for it will surpass all that you have known.
Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
